🇮🇪➡️🇬🇧 The Cable is heading to London!

Following acclaimed performances in Ireland, THE CABLE makes its highly anticipated UK premiere at the Irish Cultural Centre, Hammersmith.

Travel back to Co. Kerry in 1866, when the first transatlantic cable changed the world forever. As technology brings continents closer together, one Irish family waits for a single word that could change everything.

Written and performed by Mike Kelly and directed by Aidan Dooley, this powerful production tells a story of connection, separation and hope that still resonates today.

🎨 Step into a world between past and present.

Join us for the official opening of On the Edge and In-Between, a new exhibition by artist James Hayes, inspired by six months spent living and working as Caretaker of the Great Blasket Island.

Through a striking collection of paintings, Hayes captures the people, landscapes and unique sense of place he encountered, offering a fresh perspective on island life and the spaces that exist between memory, history and the present day.

🗓 Opening Reception: Saturday 4th July, 5:30pm
📍 Siamsa Tíre Art Gallery
🎟 Free Admission | All Welcome

The exhibition runs from 4th July to 1st August 2026.
