🎉✨ Happy New Year from LipZinc Theatre! ✨🎉
As we say goodbye to 2024, we’re thrilled to announce our next big project: 'Mermaid of the Sands,' coming in 2025!
Written and directed by our own Tzarini Meyler and starring the incredible Cedrick Mugisha (Pain & Glory by Pedro Almodovar).
Thank you for being part of our journey—here’s to another year of creativity, collaboration, and powerful storytelling. Stay tuned for more updates as we gear up for this exciting release!

We had so much fun filming 'The Three Chairs' earlier this year, and we can't wait to share it with you all! But for now here is a little sneak peak of what went on behind the scenes. We hope you all have wonderful christmas and keep an eye on this space, we will be announcing something very exciting on New Year's Eve 💜

We are proud to announce that our artistic director has been selected for the prestigious Six in the Attic programme at the Irish Theatre Institute. Tzarini will be working on the script for a brand new piece of theatre. We can’t wait to tell you more in 2025. 🤫

A special thank you to the wonderful Kate Conboy-Fischer who will be reading the stage directions for us this Friday, at our rehearsed reading of 'Agnes on the Moon' 🌝

Kate is a Dublin born playwright and performer with an MA in Theatre in Practice from UCD and the Gaiety. in English and Drama from UCD. She has been working in theatre and film for over 10 years, her work has been included in festivals such as Scene & Heard and the Edinburgh Fringe. She has written fiction and essays for a variety of publications such as the UCD Observer and America's Sweethearts.

🌛MEET THE CAST🌜

Last but definitely not least we are delighted to announce Joe Mullins will be playing THE SUN. Joe is best known for playing Jimmy Walsh in the feature film Pilgrin Hill which screened at the Telluride film festival. Also John in the recent film The Yellow wallpaper. And the clockmaker in the multi award winning film The Clockmakers Dream. This year he played the lead in feature ‘The Line’. Theatre work include John Proctor in ‘The Crucible’, Jesus in ‘Son of Man' and Valence in ‘The Lonesome West' at the Everyman Theatre, Cork.

Next up we have our Producer Canals , playing the role of POLLY! Ana is a Spanish/Irish actor and producer. Most recently she performed alongside Tzarini Meyler in our tour of KITES, which was performed at Camden Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT Festival in London. Other credits include: Mina in 'Dublin in a Rainstorm' at Smock Alley, Elizabeth in 'Talking Icons, and María in 'Talking Tarot'.

Martina is a stage and screen actor, her credits include, Eva in 'Pheromone', New Theatre; Margaret in 'Dublin in a Rainstorm', Ma in 'Terms & Conditions of me & Me Ma', Smock Alley; Irene in 'Bothered & Bewildered', Riverbank and Geraldine in 'Dolly', Edinburgh fringe.

In the titular role of AGNES we have none other than our Artistic Director Tzarini Meyler, who also wrote the play of course!

Tzarini is just off a successful tour of her original play KITES, which was performed at Camden Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and VAULT Festival in London. Tzarini was awarded funding from and to write and develop "Agnes on the Moon" 🌝

🌛MEET THE CAST🌜

We are so excited to be collaborating with Italian actor, director and playwright Cristian Izzo! In 2020 he was awarded the "Nuove Sensibilità" award for best Italian dramaturg. He is a visiting lecturer in commedia dell'arte at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. Recent credits include ‘Hamlet - of impossibility’ (European tour) and ‘Comedians during the plague’ (Apollo International Theatre Festival, Alba Iulia). Cristian will be playing the role of THE MOON 🌝
