Unapologetic plug.
The Traitors Ireland starts this Sunday @ 9.30 on RTE and will be shown around the world over the coming months. The show was largely filmed in Slane Castle and County Meath earlier this year.
This show is series produced by my sister Mairead who is Director of Content for KITE Entertainment. To say I am beyond proud is an understatement. She made the deal in 2023 in the Netherlands for the rights long before the BBC and now the show has come to fruition.
Mairead wont blow her own trumpet but ill do it for her. A lot of people in Tipp don't know what my sister does or that an award winning producer is from the town.
Off top of my head, from starting off working in RTE for her TY work experience and then with Zig, Zag and Dustin on The Den in the 90s, Joe Duffy, Celebrity Banisteoir, Questions & Answers and award winning series like the New Irish, Bad Fellas, A Story with Me in it - also Co writing books with Paul Williams et al and a load more before joining Darren Smith in Kite Entertainment. Bringing Gogglebox to Ireland, Creating Irelands Fittest Families, Irelands got Talent, Big Life Fix, The Deirdre O Kane show, Love in the Country, Last One Laughing with Graham Norton and a load more !!!
I almost forgot her Fair City Cameos 🤣 !!!
The Traitors is the next feather in her cap and I hope everyone watches it and enjoys it even more knowing the Tipp Town connection to the show !!!
