We were saddened to hear of the passing of Pat Nugent from Tipperary town, after an illness bravely borne.

Pat was well known in the town, whether it be in the market yard, sitting on the wall in front of the Maxol filling station on Fr Mathew Street or anywhere around the town, Pat was always close by.

He was very knowledgeable about the town and surrounding areas and he enjoyed a good chat about sports and everything else that was of interest locally and nationally. He really was a great character and he will be sorely missed by his family, neighbours and many friends.

We send our deepest condolences to his daughter Karen, son’s John and Steven and Steven’s partner Iris who are both part our music festival since day one, his sisters Kay and Marie McCarthy, brother Denis and all family members.
May Pat rest in eternal peace.
