Michael Scott is a writer, composer, theatre director and international producer. Currently Artistic Director of the City Theatre Dublin, His productions and music have been seen and heard in Ireland, England, Germany, the USA, Iceland, Wales,
Scotland, Italy and France, and on the WWW.
His original music is available on all digital platforms.
He has directed a number of musicals, his production of TOMMY (UCD DRAMSOC) moved from UCD to the Olympia Theatre Dublin for two weeks. He created the world stage
premiere of QUADROPHENIA (also by the Who at UCD). IMAGES IN BOWIE at UCD, The Oscar Theatre and Project Arts Centre (1984). THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Cork Opera House and The Olympia Theatre Dublin. CAROUSEL with Michael Praed, Collette McGahon and
Cyril Cusack the Tivoli Theatre. THE RAVEN BECKONS with Hazel O‘Connor, at the Riverside Theatre Dublin. The WIZARD OF OZ at the Olympia Theatre with Alex Sharpe, Alan Stanford and Brendan Gleeson. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at the Riverside Theatre and Theatre Royal
