Everyone deserves to feel included in this life. No matter where we come from, what language we speak or what nationality we are, we all feel love, hurt, hope and fear. We are one human race, all trying to find our place and live in peace. There is no room for hate. Kindness costs nothing, and sometimes a simple smile can remind someone that they belong.

A smile needs no translation.

When You Need Me

I'm glad I was on your mind
The day your mother passed away
It shows the true value of friendship
Will forever, undoubtedly, stay

There's a bond we'll always have
The buddy system won't let us down
When times become unpredictable
You know I'll always be around

When someone loses a parent,
It puts life's perspective in their hands
Something they never could imagine
Or even dream or understand

I know that I'm more than a friend
You're willing to say that too
You know that you can contact me
No matter what you're going through

We will always have our memories
Of the parents we once knew
They were our steadfast anchors
Their love still carries us through

In the days that become dark
When memories come flooding in
Know that they surround you still
Their light forever shines within

As you carry the torch on your own
Feel their presence all around
Reach out whenever you need me
Or reach to them beyond the clouds

The Torch Of Freedom

Eyes peek up over New York Harbour,
The beautiful Statue of Liberty stands proud.
250 years of America's pursuit of liberty,
Today they celebrate this milestone out loud.

The United States Declaration of Independence
Gave a signature of hope and freedom.
A gift of friendship from the people of France,
A vision of light in the sky's museum.

Her crown, seven rays reaching the whole world,
Thousands arriving by ship through Ellis Island,
Families overjoyed at their first sight of America,
Seeing their future wrapped in a new heartland.

Today her light still greets the world,
Her torch held high for all around
That hope never fades but believes
Her message echoes in a lasting sound.

Her torch shines for every generation,
She may not speak, but has welcomed millions.
She is the beauty that triumphs in the skyline,
A beacon of light uniting all nations.
