We made a batch of soap from scratch, and everyone went home with their own beautifully scented handmade soap 🫧

Somebody said to me not that long ago, “Why do you add flowers to your candles? It’s a lot of work.

And honestly, because I like to do it 🌸

I do things because I enjoy doing them.I like experimenting with tiny flowers I find along the way, seeing how they press and how they look once added to a candle.

This little one is Greater Stitchwort, and once pressed it turned out really cute, I find the wildflowers are the best for pressing.

It also makes my candles a little bit different from others, and I think that’s part of the beauty of handmade. Handmade pieces are about the little details and the feeling they create while you enjoy them 🙂

Comfrey is another favourite in the garden 🌿

Loved by pollinators, useful around the veggie patch, and traditionally used in herbal skincare, it became one of the inspiration ingredients for my handmade foot balm for tired, hardworking feet 🦶

Calendula is loved for its calming and gentle properties, while lavender and tea tree essential oils give a fresh, relaxing feeling.

For anyone spending long hours on their feet don’t forget to give them a little care too!

The greenhouse is starting to fill up already 🌱
I’m growing some kohlrabi this year (a new one for me!), along with more tomatoes and a few different varieties among other things.

Everything is looking good so far🌿
