Coming up during the Skibbereen Arts Festival we have lots of exciting and interesting events for you all.

From Monday 28 July to Monday 4 August River Green is running in Fields Cafe.

On Tuesday 29 July at 11am we have Minecraft - A New Building for the Arts here in the West Cork Arts Centre.

Also here on the same day is Eileen, written and performed by Karen Minihan at 2.30pm.

At the Playground on Cork Road, we have West Cork Inclusive Dance at 6.00pm on Tuesday 29 July.

Then on Thursday the 31 July here at the Arts Centre is an illustrated talk by John Kelly, entitled "Beyond Woop Woop - An artist's voyage to Antarctica" a free event at 6.30pm.

On the same evening, over at the West Cork Hotel at 7.30pm is The Starling Song Project featuring Liz Clark.

Just a reminder to all those artists with work in the annual Members show. Collection of work is today Tuesday 22nd before 4.45pm and the same tomorrow Wednesday 23rd before 4.45pm. Thank you all :)

You really have to come and see our Members' Exhibition before it's too late! Featuring 300 artworks by 120 artists, this is the most awe-inspiring experience you are likely to have in a long time.

As a witness to a number of visitors to the gallery, the most frquent reaction to the show is a very enthusiastic and extended 'Wow!!!!!!!' You know you want that feeling ;)

Just a very tiny sample of what is on view at the Members' Exhibition. Exhibiting 120 artists, there are 300 works in almost every medium imaginable. Opening Saturday 28 June at 7pm, you really cannot miss it!

There was a huge response today to our call for work for this year's Members' Show. A big shout out to Miranda and Ali for handling it all! No small task. Brace yourselves for even more tomorrow!!!

Artists! Tomorrow is the last day to get your work in, so make sure you get yourselves in tomorrow between 10 am and 4.45pm. I really cannot wait to unwrap all that work. Oooooo! I'll be like a kid at Christmas :)
