Cooking is supposed to be fun, and nobody proves that better than cousins Tamsin and Scarlett Allen.

Taking to the stage at Ballymaloe Festival of Food 2026, they prepare pan-fried turbot with basil hollandaise, followed by a rich chocolate mousse with strawberry sauce, sharing kitchen tips, family stories and plenty of laughs along the way.

Having grown up surrounded by great food at Ballymaloe, their enthusiasm for cooking is infectious and a reminder that some of the best memories are made around the kitchen table.

Summer has arrived, and we're delighted to begin our Ballymaloe Festival of Food 2026 YouTube series with Rory O'Connell.
