The Community Services Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and is managed by Pobal. The service offers:

The Day Care Activities include Painting Classes, Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing and Woodturning Workshops. Meals are available at the Centre from Mon
day to Friday at 1pm and meals can be delivered to cover 7 days per week. We participate in the Go For Life Exercise Programme through Roscommon Sports Partnership twice a year. Information Sessions are held on Rights & Entitlements e.g. Making a Will, Benefit & Grants & Entitlements. Day trips include locations such as Knock Shrine, Bealtaine Festival, Glencar Waterfall, Strokestown House, and places of historic interest! We also arrange private cinema viewings two or three times a year. We participate in the National Positive Aging Week with Age Action Ireland. In December, we have flower arranging and encourage members to create their Christmas Decorations and Table floral arrangements. We also help them design Christmas Cards and other stationery. The Service operates from St Ronan’s Community Centre, Keadue. Transport to and from the centre is also provided.
