Westcountry Willows We are full-time basket makers living and weaving in Ireland, doing what we love every day. Westcountry Willows are a husband and wife team based in Co.

From quiet moments in the workshop to lively demos and hands-on workshops, we share our passion for traditional craft with others. Roscommon, surrounded by willows and rushes in the midwest boglands. We create baskets and crafts using the materials that grow around us. You can commission us to weave a basket or other item to suit your requirements or come to us to learn how to weave your own baske

We had such a fantastic time in county wexford at Alex and Nikkis beautiful place teaching baskets to this amazing bunch of people🙏
Couldn't of wished for better weather, i wish i'd taken more pictures! Nikki made us an amazing lunch of all her own fermented foods and homemade soughdough bread, I could of quite happily moved in with them in their beautiful wooden house surrounded by herbs and peonys, heavenly 🌼🌻🌺🧺 hope to teach there again ❤️🙏 loving the summer ☀️

Theres only a few places left on each course so book soon online at celt.ie bring your friends and family and make a whole weekend of it, you can camp over or stay in the slieve Aughty center, organic lunches provided each day, gather round the campfire 🔥 in the evening feel free to bring your instruments 🎸 🪈 and make memories. Many people come back again and again and do a different course each time. Take time out from the grind and slow down in nature with our expert crafters, you deserve it 🙏💚

A busy 5 days making willow bird feeders in the children's area, and quiet time in Portrane at the end of each day at the beach, perfect combo. Thanks to all our helpers, many, many kids went home happy with their creations ❤️❤️❤️
