Do you like acting and performance?
Have you ever thought to yourself what it would be like to be on stage?
Has the question what it is like to be an actor or to work behind the scenes on a theatre production crossed your mind?
Come down and explore all that is theatre at ITW Studios. The first fantastic theatre journey that you will take will be a Shakespeare project followed by a very exciting opportunity to premiere a brand new play while working with Connections (in conjunction with the National Theatre London)
This gives young adults the chance to perform classical text as well as modern. Getting to work on all the moving parts of the worlds of plays is incredibly rewarding and inspiring.

Our Director this year is Hazel Clifford.
Hazel is an Actor and writer from Dublin. She is a Graduate from the Lir Academy where she trained for four years. She has been awarded both a Diploma in Acting and Theatre Studies and a 1st Class Hons in Acting (BA). She has had the pleasure of working with many fantastic people over the years and has had much success with getting to work professionally on suc iconic stages as the Abbey, The Gate, The Gaiety and the Lyric in Belfast just to name a few. At the Lir she had the opportunity to become well versed in the language of movement, improv, voice and acting technique.
Drama and the right to express oneself is something she is very passionate about. She feels it is crucially important for children and young adults to have a space where they can articulate themselves in a creative way in a non judgemental manner while also learning such valuable skills such as public speaking, breathing techniques and overall a build in confidence.
Hazel has worked with Roddy Doyle's company Fighting Words where they give children and adults the chance to write and perform their own words on stage. With Fighting Words it's such a mix of people from very different backgrounds coming together to make work for the voices of now.
Hazel was nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award in 2018 for her role as Sharon in the Snapper by Roddy Doyle at The Gate Theatre and was as also Nominated for Best Young Talent at the Renaissance Film Festival London in 2019.
She is thrilled to have been invited to work with the Young Dramatic Arts Theatre Company this year and can’t wait to get started!!
