Don't you just love when the Gods turn the light and heat on in Autumn? October always treats us to a little late sun. We can't eat the blackberries now, the devil has been, but the touch of sun on skin is just bliss. Colourful morning and evening skies, a weekend of hiking and swimming and partying on the pier to celebrate a friend's birthday — oh haven't our Gods blessed us. A last dash of fun before winter sets in.

I didn’t find one of the ten bottles along the coast today. I did find what I think is a plaque with the name of a Spanish beach. So maybe a bottle will come in on the Mediterranean Coast. I might find one on my winter holiday😎

Thanks to everybody who came along to the Portsalon Heritage Week Event. The weather was mostly kind and it was great to hear all the memories people shared also. Those stories that people shared will now be preserved instead of being lost.

It’s the final day of our Finding Colmcille Project.
What a week of words and will. From walk to page to stage the work is done. We’re now performance ready. It’s almost time to run.
Come along this evening and hear the old words rise. Prophecies, tales and curses at our Turas Well. Colmcille’s voice is set to swell the stories told around the well.
