I got 3 ticks!!!!

I'm thrilled to share my recent painting, "Reach Toward the Light" has been selected for the upcoming 145th Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition in Belfast.
The show will run from 18th October to 3rd January 2027.
Thanks to all the judges for including my work. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the artworks on show.

We had such a lovely afternoon at the .arts Varnishing Day. It was an honour to showcase my work alongside such amazing artists. Thanks to all the team at the RHA for putting this show together and congratulations to all artists involved.

New term of oil painting classes are starting on Saturday 25th April for 5 weeks. Previous experience preferred but not essential for this class. Oh dear😩. That was not easy. We had to tell Lucky that he didn’t get any applications and very few likes or shares. He’s blaming himself now but we told him it’s not his fault. Sadly black dogs always find it hard to get a home😭. He’s such a good boy as well, loves his foster family and is very good and relaxed in the house.

He’s only a year old and hasn’t had an easy life so far. He was found dumped on the road by a family and they looked after him for a few weeks but had to give him up as they didn’t have an enclosed garden. He got on great with the kids there who were as young as four and with the other dogs. He used to chase the cats though.

I received some exciting news yesterday that my oil painting, "Brambles and Buttercups" was selected for the 196th RHA Annual Exhibition. Can't wait to attend the Varnishing Day and see all the amazing artwork and talent from across the country. Thanks to the selection committee at the RHA for selecting my work.
