TV PILOT COURSE STARTS TOMORROW —

Learn how to write a TV PILOT by finishing one in 8-Weeks. Our much loved TV Pilot class is back and it starts TOMORROW over zoom.

Taught by Erin McGathy, this course has helped writers go on to sell their scripts, grow as writers— and yes…have fun. . It’s structured, supportive, and keeps you accountable with weekly deadlines.

ABOUT GOOD MOURNING:

Comedy as catharsis at its best….

Good Mourning is a long-form improv show developed and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. Built around the idea that our shared experience of grief contains more than pain and isolation: there are moments of absurdity, connection and celebration for a life lost.

In this one-night workshop, visiting improviser and creator of the show, Alan Starzinsky, will guide improvisers through the method of mining an audience’s members interview about a lost loved one as the jumping-off point for a show that’s both honest and hilarious.
This format is great for improvisers looking to create shows that feel personal, connected, and emotionally rich—without losing the fun. You’ll come away with tools for stronger audience interviews, clearer premises, and more grounded long-form scenes.
