A Space Designed to Inspire | Looking Ahead to 2027 ✨The blueprints are turning into reality, and the future of creative education in Ireland is taking shape right here in Mullingar.
We are incredibly excited to share a sneak peek of the Uí Fhionnáin Creative Learning Academy studio space plans.

Every detail... from the minimalist, focused architecture to the light-filled layout has been intentionally designed to give our students an environment where raw imagination meets professional craft. 📸🎬Whether you are joining us for film production, fine art photography, or visual storytelling, music or English lessons, this space will be your blank canvas.

What’s coming for our 2027 intake? Immersive Masterclasses: Advanced hands-on training with industry-standard resources.Landscape & Myth Programs: Blending state-of-the-art studio work with our signature outdoor creative excursions. Expanded Youth & Teen Academies: Giving the next generation of creatives a dedicated hub to build their portfolios and confidence. Plans are locking into place, and applications limited small group places for our 2027 learners and creatives are filling up.

As part of our July Creative Learning Workshops, this was far more than a visit — it was a chance to experience Irish history, design, storytelling and culture in the heart of the city, while building confidence through real conversation and shared discovery.

When history becomes the story… 🎬✨

High above the landscape of County Meath, our students explored the extraordinary Loughcrew Cairns—walking among ancient stones, discovering the story of Cairn T and imagining the lives, rituals and beliefs of the people who stood here more than 5,000 years ago.

But this was more than a visit.

With the evening sun falling across the hills, the landscape became our creative classroom—and the inspiration for a new short film in which the students step beyond the familiar and through a mysterious portal into the ancient world of Éire.

From studying the site and photographing the cairn to developing cinematic ideas, characters and visual storytelling, this experience brought together history, mythology, photography, filmmaking and English-language learning in one unforgettable adventure.

At Uí Fhionnáin Creative Learning, students do not simply learn about Ireland—they explore it, interpret it and become part of its continuing story.

Ireland is the classroom. Imagination opens the doorway.

What if your next story began in Ireland? 🍀🪉

Ángela travelled from Andalusia to join us for an immersive writing workshop—and at Uí Fhionnáin Creative Learning, inspiration is never confined to a desk.

Among the ancient arches of Fore Abbey, quiet woodland paths and hidden waters, Ángela explored how history, landscape and imagination can shape a story. With a notebook in hand and centuries of Irish legend surrounding her, every step became a new character, scene or possibility.

This is more than an English lesson. It is an opportunity to experience Ireland, develop your creative voice and return home with stories that could only have begun here.
