Eight winners, two Listed victories and plenty to celebrate at the Curragh! 🏆👏
King Cuan landed the Coolmore Sioux Nation Concorde Stakes in brilliant style for trainer Paddy Twomey, jockey Billy Lee and Red Lily Racing Syndicate — who have only just got their voices back after a fabulous win with Trean in the Goffs Million a couple of weeks ago! 🙌
King Cuan’s win made it a double on the day for Paddy Twomey and Billy Lee, who had already teamed up to land the opening race with Pirate Anne Bonny.
Then came Carla Ridge, who produced a determined performance to claim the Hailey Equine Irish EBF Brigid’s Pastures Stakes for trainers Eddie & Patrick Harty, jockey Chris Hayes and owners Dan & Linda Kiely. 💚🏆
There was plenty more to celebrate across the afternoon, with HMAS Perth, Iamimmaculate, Nouvel Espoir and Whimsy also getting their heads in front. Whimsy’s victory provided a first Curragh winner for both trainer Anthony McCann and jockey Aine Connolly — a special milestone for both! 👏
Blue Blue Moon brought the curtain down in the final race of the afternoon, giving jockey Rory Mulligan and trainer J P Murtagh a winner for Moyglare Stud. 💙
