We are absolutely delighted to welcome Daniel Chester to the Easter Snow Gallery with his stunning new exhibition 'Bog to Bloom' 🌱🎨

Living and working in County Leitrim, Daniel’s evocative paintings are inspired by the wetland landscapes of Leitrim, Fermanagh, Sligo and Donegal, places rich in peat, rushes, wildflowers and water. These often‑overlooked boglands are revealed as vital ecosystems and unexpected cradles of colour, life and quiet magic.

Part natural history, part meditation, Bog to Bloom invites you to slow down, step into these spaces and experience the ethereal beauty of our wetlands, landscapes that are both fragile and full of wonder ✨

📍 Easter Snow Gallery | View online at tseac.ie
🗓 2 April – 31 May 2026
⏰ Open daily, 10am – 4pm

Pop in, take your time, and let these extraordinary landscapes bloom before your eyes 🌿

Join host Fergus Cahillane (Faró) for our much loved monthly Singing Session, an evening dedicated to the simple, powerful art of song 🎶

We’re honoured to welcome Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh as this month’s special guest. Hailing from Dún Chaoin in West Kerry and steeped in the sean nós tradition, Muireann is one of Ireland’s most captivating contemporary voices. After over a decade touring the world with Danú, her solo and collaborative work continues to bridge the ancient and the modern with grace and artistry.

Whether you’d like to sing, or simply settle into our candlelit theatre with a coffee from The Cottage Café, it’s always a magical evening of music, community, and shared moments.

🎬 Discover April’s Film at TSEAC - Holy Cow

Fresh from winning the Youth Award at Cannes (Un Certain Regard 2024), Holy Cow is a tender, funny, and quietly powerful coming‑of‑age story set in rural France.

Eighteen‑year‑old Totone spends his days drifting between parties until life lands squarely on his shoulders when he suddenly has to care for his 7‑year‑old sister. With little else to fall back on, he throws himself into a bold, messy, heart‑warming mission: to make the very best Comté cheese in the region and win the top agricultural prize.

A charming, big‑hearted film for audiences who love stories rooted in place, community, and the everyday courage of growing up.

It’s the final week to soak up the magic of Sanctuary in our Easter Snow Gallery and what a gorgeous journey it has been. ✨

From Cormac Dennis’ live demonstrations during the exhibition launch to the calming, immersive atmosphere this collection brings, we’ve absolutely loved hosting this beautiful body of work.

Each piece captures something uniquely Irish - from rugged coastlines shaped by wind and tide, to gardens bursting into full bloom. Together, they feel like an ode to the quiet beauty tucked into every corner of the country, all seen through the eyes of an extraordinary artist. 🌊🌸

If you haven’t wandered through 'Sanctuary' yet, now’s your moment.
Pop in, take a breath, and let the art wrap around you… or explore the collection online at www.tseac.ie.

✨ Final week. Don’t miss it.
