An AE86 you can buy on Alibaba… making an appearance at 86 Fest? 👀

The rumour is that this recreation shell could be making its way to Mondello Park — but that’s not all.

Expect a huge variety of Toyota builds and chassis, a parade lap around the circuit, and lunchtime demos bringing even more action to the track.

From iconic AE86s to some seriously unique builds, 86 Fest is shaping up to be a Toyota gathering like no other. 🏁

The finale of the Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship kicks off tomorrow Saturday August 15th here at Mondello Park,. Two days of racing on the National Track will decide the titles and also the winners of the Leinster 100 and Leinster 200 races.

It's Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship finals this weekend, August 15th & 16th, with a dozen titles still to be decided. With one race per class on Saturday that means that we could have ten or more championships still to be finalised as we head into Sunday's second and third races.

Our closest battles:
Principal Insurance Superbike Cup - Jack Caldwell and Jack Whearty separated by just 6 points.
Principal Insurance Supersport - Oisin Maher and Adam Carey, 7 point gap
Megabikes Production Twins - 38 points separating four riders with 75 up for grabs
VTL Pre-Injection - a 13 point gap between Richard Hyland and Liam Concannon
Moto 400 - 13 points separating the top three
DM Groundworks Junior Supersport - 2 points between Alanna Maher and Jordan McGahon
Future Stars - 25 points between the top five riders.

Today, Monday August 10th, is closing day for reduced price race entries for this weekends' Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship finale at Mondello Park. Entries are still coming in as we build towards the final three rounds.

In addition to championship points, the August 15th & 16th event features the Leinster 100 and 200 trophies presented by the Leinster Motor Club to the Superbike and Supersport categories.

August 9th, Mondello Park will be the home of all things retro motorsport pre-1994, from rally cars to classic show cars to street cars to who even knows!

With 20-minute alternating drift and grip sessions, with an open pitlane, there’ll always be action on track! And in the paddock, we’ll have some fantastic show cars for your viewing pleasure!
