Tonights painting is one I completed a number of weeks ago and depicts the "Beach Bear" in Greystones. Unveiled over ten years ago, this piece of sculpture is located on the Greystones sea front on Marine Road (next the Cove) and features Bray Head in the distance. I'm sure it has become a firm favourite with all the locals and children in the area.

Hi everyone, well with yet another long term shop in Naas closing due to retirement, I was commissioned by the children of the owners of Finishing Touches, to provide this painting for their parents. has been in Poplar Square since 1980 and after 46 years Mary and David are closing their doors. I'm sure you'll all agree they will be sadly missed and wish them the very best for the future.

For all my friends in Wexford, here are a just a few of my paintings of the sunny southeast, or more specifically The Hook Peninsula. Over the past 20 years or so, this part of Ireland has become a second home for us, where the scenery and beautiful beaches, are only out done by the friendliness of the local residents. In 1989 myself and my wife emigrated to Canada, and lived there till 1997. It was while I was in Canada I fell in love with watercolour and was fortunate to have attended a number of courses in .ca (Dundas Valley School of Art). Tonight's post includes two of my paintings from that time and in both paintings are my two lads, when they were only little boys. Hope you like them as much as I did painting them.

Tonight I decided to reach back a few years to a painting I competed of an old derelict fishing trawler. This boat was parked up on the quay in a small Wexford village called Arthurstown and although it was old and faded, I could still see the beauty in it.

Hi everyone just a reminder that the Naas Christmas Fair is this Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Santa's coming along and the lights will be turned on..... Look forward to seeing you, after all not every day is the start of Christmas!!

Hi everyone tonight I'm posting my paintings of possibly the 4 most popular pubs in my hometown Naas. All four pubs hark back back to an earlier time in Naas, with low ceilings, snugs and original hardwood bars, that create a beautiful ambience.

Well folks, I was planning to send a post out last night but that Ireland game was just too good to tear myself away. What a performance beating Portugal 2-0..... dare we dream of next summer???
