Aimee has been dancing all her life and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Studies from the University of Wolverhampton. Aimee obtained a diploma in Dance Instruction and Dance Education with ISTD, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Aimee teaches classes in many styles including Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop/Commercial, Musical Theatre dance, Ballet, Acrobatics Dance and more.
Elevate train competitive dancers and teams in Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics dance and Jazz. The dancers of the Elevate elite have been highly successful in their training and they perform in the RDS each year at the performing arts convention: Perform Ireland. As for the performance side of things, the dance school have performed on West End stages two years in a row in the Shaftesbury theatre which was home to the famous musical, Hairspray and Her Majesty's Theatre where Phantom of the Opera is based. It was part of a European dance school show case and the dance school performed choreography by Aimee. While enjoying their time in London, they took a master class by Rudeye the UK's No.1 professional dance agency and in Pineapple Dance Studio's. During the dance school year, when they are not preparing for competitions, Elevate performs every Winterfest, Culture Night & St.Patrick's Day or in any festivals held in Mullingar as well as their annual showcase in May/June. Aimee introduced the Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy to Mullingar and other areas in the Midlands in 2011. The dance academy was for young children from the age of 3 years+ The dance academy was replaced by the exciting ballet programme called Twinklesteps. It is an introduction to dance which includes, ballet, hip hop and musical theatre dance. It is a fun way to start out in the dance world and it includes props, imagination and creativity which children can experience in a fun & safe environment. Aimee has choreographed for many school variety shows and musicals in the past some including Grease, Our House, Cats, Miss Saigon, Happy Days and Les miserables and Hairspray. Aimee choreographed several local panto's for the Mullingar Arts Centre and has worked as a dance tutor in the stage schools. Aimee, herself continues to train and learn new performance skills in dance to improve her dancer’s performance and keep up date with the new and ever evolving dance styles and trends. Aimee recently had a West End performer over from the UK to give a work shop in Matilda and Bodyguard the musical.
