𝗠𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝗙𝗲́𝗶𝗹𝗲: 𝗔 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂!🙏
It takes a whole community to make a festival successful; we all witnessed that last weekend. One of the things I heard repeatedly when I asked people what they thought of the weekend was how a festival brings a community together. People of M**f & the surrounding areas made this Féile a raving success, and we can’t be grateful enough!
On behalf of the committee, we want to wholeheartedly thank everyone who:
- Sponsored and donated prizes,
- Marshaled & Stewarded,
- Litter Picked (M**f Tidy Towns),
- Served Tea and Refreshments (The Cabin & Volunteers),
- Supplied & Presented Awards (M**f Medals & Trophy's),
- Took part in floats in our opening parade,
- Provided Music, Entertainment & Radios,
- Supplied Tables & Chairs (Kilderry Vintage Club)
- Judged & Mc’ed events,
- Sold draw tickets,
- Organized & ran events,
- Supplied venues for events (QPS, Pat Bill & M**f Play Park)
- Took & Shared Photos & Videos,
- Erected Marquees (Inish Marquee Hire) & Bunting
- Made a special guest appearance (Black Paddy)
- All who participated in our Féile events & approached our weekend with an attitude of fun and good vibes,
and lastly
- to all our fantastic volunteers who just got involved with no questions asked, as we needed a wee hand at times over the weekend.
We have been overwhelmed with volunteers this year and already have people offering their services for 2027. We are a committee of 19 who met regularly over the past 12 months, and this group has done an incredible job - giving their time, hearts and energy to create a wonderful weekend for our village and wider community.
Huge thanks from the pro's (Ois & Grainne) to our committee who have given their all to make this weekend happen, & we’ll be back to make sure next year’s Féile is one for the books.
