We have a lot of ‘Thank Yous’ to do from this weekend. And we’ve a lot of photos to share over the coming days.
But firstly we want to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to one guy - Gareth McGuinness. Gareth came to a committee meeting last year and proposed running a soccer tournament in the lead-up to M**f Feile 2025. He successfully did such over one day last year, and its success led to the outstanding success he brought about these past two days.
Yes the committee and volunteers were instrumental in it all working out, but Gareth did all the organising and running of the tournament. He deserves every credit for the effort he’s made in our village.
We had up to 600 young folk play football here this weekend - families and teams travelled from all over N’Ireland and Donegal. Even the rain yesterday did not deter anyone.
Gareth we are delighted to have you on board with our village Feile and we really do want to thank you for everything you did to make this weekend brilliant 🙏
