✨ Join us for a magical festive day by the lake, with Santa and his Elves in our FREE grotto, Mrs Claus, beautiful reindeer and a wonderful selection of Christmas stalls! 🎄🎁

We are now welcoming applications from local makers, crafters and festive food producers offering:

🍪 Festive treats and seasonal goodies

📋 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VENDORS

All vendors must complete an official stall application form.

Bookings and expressions of interest via email, text or social media will not be accepted.

Only completed application forms will be reviewed.

Applications will be assessed to ensure a wonderful variety of stalls that fit our Christmas market theme.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

What a fantastic evening of soccer, fundraising and community spirit which we experienced during the Muckno Mania Festival! 💙

A massive thank you to our Main Sponsor Gerry Callan of Callan Cabs for his generous support, and to Blayney Rovers FC for coming to our rescue at very short notice and welcoming us to their fantastic facilities. A special thank you to Lorraine, all the members and players of the Rovers, and especially the young players who put on a brilliant pre-match game. 👏⚽️

Thank you also to our two match teams — The Horsemans Inn & The Spinning Wheel and Dignam's Bar & Sean's Bar. There were plenty of great shots, laughs and celebrations! Congratulations to Dignam's & Sean's on taking home the win! 🏆

We are delighted to announce that €835 was raised for Castleblayney Cancer Society. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and donated so generously and to all our Muckno Mania volunteers who helped out on the day.

❤️ Remembering Mindzenty Finnegan

We were delighted to welcome Pauline Finnegan and her family and to pay tribute to Mindzenty Finnegan, a proud Castleblayney man who left behind an amazing legacy.

His love of soccer and his contribution to our town will never be forgotten. It was very fitting to bring the community together through a sport he loved.

He will be remembered, but never forgotten. ❤️

Finally, thank you to Castleblayney Cancer Society for the incredible work you do every day supporting people affected by cancer in our community.

I was delighted to represent Muckno Mania and join a group of over 20 local community activists and peers on a unique trip to the World War I battlefields in Belgium and France.

​Organised jointly by Castleblayney Community Enterprise, Castleblayney Church of Ireland, and The Blayney Cultural Network Group as part of the PEACEPLUS Changemaker Funding Programme, the trip focused on highlighting the futility of war and promoting sustainable reconciliation, while fostering integration and awareness of minority cultures within our own community.

​Over four days, we visited major memorial sites and graveyards, learning about the diverse backgrounds of those who fought and remembering the local men from our area who never returned home. It was truly an amazing, deeply poignant experience.
