Our September Plein Air Session.
It was a fresh, bright, glorious morning, perfect conditions to get painting out in nature!

This was the final plain air session with me in Rossmore fpr the year. If you are interested in coming along next year, make sure you sign up to my VIP list to be kept up to date with what's happening next. Link in bio.

This is one in a series of three paintings from Bragan Bog, painted en plein air and completed in studio.

Alone out on the bogs painting this was an eerie experience, but that energy went into the painting.

Come along this Saturday to my FINAL workshop of the year in Rossmore Forest Park.
I provide you with all painting equipment and materials to have a great experience with Plein Air Painting.

This workshop, we will use oil paint. I will give demos throughout and give one to one guidance to each participant.
This workshop is open to all abilities, perfect for beginners and painters alike.

The location I have chosen this time is only a short distance from the car park which makes is essily accessible for all.

AUGUST CRAFT MONTH

A fantastic couple of days spent alongside the showcasing our work for both the Family Day and then the Corporate Event.

Everyone's work was such a great representation of them and what they can do. So many wonderful options for local businesses to choose local for their Corporate gifting thia year.

Its August Craft Month and we have some great opportunities for you to meet the maker this weekend in The Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.

Sunday 30th: Open Family Craft Day 12-4pm
Monday 31st: Corporate Event 12-4pm

Drop in at any time to come and chat to the artists and makers and see some fantastic local arts and crafts.

One final workshop for 2026, taking place September 5th!
I thought we were done for the year, but so many of you reached out to say you would like one more! So here we are, and I am delighted to run another session.

I have planned a lovely workshop, only moments away from the Rossmore Forest carpark on an accessible path, which brings us right into the depths of the forest, but makes it easy for everyone of all abilities to attend. If the thought of trekking to a paint out point put you off in the past, then this one is a perfect one for you.

All materials and equipment are provided and I will give guided demonstrations throughout, with individual guidance to each participant.
You will go home with your finished painting, a lasting memory of the day.
