I'm sure you've seen the posters around County Monaghan and seen many creatives posting this on their socials. If you havent heard about CREATE! Festival by now, then listen up!

Taking place this Saturday 13th June at the gorgeous ; Create promises to be a wonderful day, jam packed with new things to try out. Check out the page to scan through the many activities you can choose from to attend, there's also a wonderful artisan market!

and I will be there representing with a pop up plein air session, where we will give you the opportunity to paint with us. We will have all the materials you need to paint en plein air. This will be a lovely opportunity to maybe try something new, or simply let loose on the canvas!

Cruinniú na nÓg is coming to Glaslough on Saturday 6th, where a large community canvas will be created by all of the young people who drop by!
If you know anyone from 0-17 who would like to leave their mark, create a little artwork or simply experience getting some colour onto canvas, then spread the word and come along to Oaklands Community Centre in Glaslough village.

This event is led by 2 artists, and supported by

FREE EVENT
Drop in session, anytime between 11am - 3pm
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Oaklands community centre.

We used to do life drawing once a week in NCAD for our Fashion Design degree course, and I would say it was the part of my degree I enjoyed most.
More of this please 🙏 a great way to let loose and try new things when drawing or painting under time pressure.

July evening reflections
Oil on canvas

When the weather is so calm, it makes the Lake so much easier to capture with clear reflections. But when ripples begin to form, it changes everything so quickly.
So many beautiful tones to capture last night as the sky was deep with blues and the water reflected that.
