🎬 Exciting news!

North and East Housing Association (NEHA) - who provides over 900 homes across 12 local authorities and is committed to community, wellbeing and empowerment - has partnered with Clones Film Festival and the Arts Offices of Cavan and Monaghan County Councils to launch a new Filmmaker in Residence programme for 2026.

✨ Regina de Faoite (Cavan) is an award-winning emerging filmmaker whose work spans documentary, fiction and experimental film, with screenings at festivals including Kerry and Louth, and a strong focus on emotion, place and storytelling.

✨ Jackie Jarvis (Monaghan) brings extensive experience as an editor on international film and TV productions including The Pope’s Exorcist, Cocaine Bear and The Young Offenders, alongside directing acclaimed short documentaries focused on real-life characters.

Over the coming months, both artists will work closely with NEHA tenants through workshops, interviews and creative collaboration - uncovering stories of home, identity, regeneration and community across the region resulting in two documentaries.

🎥 The two short documentaries will premiere at our 25th Clones Film Festival in 2026, celebrating local voices on a national stage - just watch this space!
