Another hugely successful year for our art students in Moate Business College. Congratulations to all our students getting top marks in their portfolio submissions, receiving numerous round zero offers and huge numbers getting their 1st choice offers! We are growing and growing every year! And now, one of the largest QQI art courses in Ireland!!! Best of luck to our 2025 graduates and a huge welcome to our new students starting this Wednesday. Huge congratulations to our former student at Moate Business College Johnny Murphy and his colleagues on winning an Emmy for Outstanding Prosthetic Make Up for their work on the HBO series “The Last of Us”. Johnny completed the portfolio course here in MBC before studying model making in Dun Laoghaire of Art Design and Technology.
Needless to say we are super proud of Johnny and this outstanding achievement!

Congratulations to Emma Mulrooney, former Advanced Art & Design Level 6 student, on her recent Round Zero Offer in Teacher Education in Limerick School of Art and Design 👏🏼🎨

“The time I spent in Moate Business College doing both the Art & Design and the Advanced Art & Design courses was beyond beneficial to me. Not only did it prepare me well for Level 8 Education, but the learning gained and opportunities I received doing these courses helped me to grow confidence in my ability to achieve my career goals.

Through the Advanced Art & Design course, I was able to travel to Mallorca through the Erasmus + programme and complete work experience at an art academy for a few weeks. As a result of this, I have decided to do the Art & Design Teacher Education course in LSAD. This was such a valuable trip for me as I now know exactly what type of art career I would like to pursue.”

“Round Zero” includes CAO offers to numerous courses with a quota of places reserved for QQI/FET applicants. These courses are normally high demand courses. This year, Round Zero offers were released on August 5th.

QQI/FET applicants may also receive CAO offers during “Round 1” for entry to courses where there is no quota of places.
