I’ve been meaning to share this one for a little while because some people you meet through training really do leave a lasting impression 🥹🖤✨

Meet Claire, an absolute salt of the earth kind of person, and someone I feel so lucky to have had the pleasure of training. 🤍

From the moment we started, Clare was an absolute dream to work with. She was so eager to learn, always asking questions, taking everything on board and genuinely wanting to understand the why behind what she was doing. ✨

But what I loved most was watching her confidence grow throughout the training. She put her heart into everything, took so much pride in her work and was determined to do things properly from the very beginning. 🥹👏🏻

Still catching up on posting all the amazing 1:1 trainings, but I had to give this February beginners group their moment 🖤✨

These girls were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They threw themselves into every part of the training, asked questions, supported each other, built confidence so quickly and genuinely made the whole group such a joy to teach.

What makes me even prouder is seeing how much they’ve grown since then. Watching them take everything they learned, keep practising, keep building their confidence and start thriving in their own journeys is exactly why I love doing this.

Such a brilliant group, such good energy, and so much potential between them. I’m so proud of every one of you 🫶

🎓 WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR PIERCING COURSE?

You’ve done your training, built your skills and got your certificate… but what happens next? 🤍

At Cork Piercing Academy, I’ve always wanted the support to go beyond the classroom.

During training, I guide you on what happens afterwards too, from finding suitable tattoo studios or salons to different setup options, working disposable and building yourself within the industry.

And now CPA graduates have another option 🖤

CPA GRADUATE STUDIO DAYS

Graduates can work independently from a ready-to-go piercing space within an established tattoo studio.

This could be somewhere to start building after training, somewhere you use regularly, or somewhere you come back to for your own pop-up days, even once you’re established elsewhere.

✨ Grow your clientele & engagement
✨ Create content & build your portfolio
✨ Run your own pop-ups
✨ Be added to the CPA booking platform for your dates
✨ Keep your own piercing earnings
✨ Stay connected to CPA & have access to me for support

You’ll also have access to a Class B autoclave, sterilisation area and sharps/waste disposal.

As I teach during training, you can absolutely remain fully disposable. But having access to a Class B autoclave also gives you the option to sterilise suitable jewellery/equipment without having to invest in your own.

For me, this is all about giving graduates options and opportunities.

Find your own studio. Work disposable. Build your own setup. Use CPA regularly. Come back for pop-ups. Or do a mixture of everything as your career grows. 🤍

There isn’t one path you have to follow.

I don’t just want to train piercers and hand out certificates.

I want to build a community of piercers and continue creating opportunities for them after training. 🖤

🖤 WHY MY PIERCING TRAINING IS DIFFERENT 🖤

For me, piercing education shouldn’t end the moment you receive your certificate.

I’ve trained many piercers through the traditional apprenticeship model, and there are parts I still strongly believe in: mentorship, shadowing, continued development and learning alongside an experienced piercer.

What I don’t believe is necessary is months, or even years, of unpaid or underpaid scivvy work just to earn the opportunity to learn.

I was lucky enough to get my foot in the door of a studio at 16. Although I was underpaid, it gave me the opportunity to build the career I have today, but that route simply isn’t realistic or accessible for everyone.

So I’ve taken the parts of traditional apprenticeships I truly value and built them into the way I train today. 🖤

Your initial training with me is the beginning of the mentorship, not the end.

Every beginner student is expected to engage in at least 3 months of continued support. I want to see your work and how your piercings are developing and healing. I want you asking questions and allowing me to guide you as you gain experience.

That support is often extended when I see students actively engaging and continuing to upskill.

Students are also invited to shadow me, and I encourage piercing days alongside me to gain further hands-on experience and education.

Your initial training gives you strong foundations, continued development is what builds you into a great piercer.

Every client brings different anatomy, challenges and opportunities to learn. That’s why mentorship and continued education are so important to me.

My advanced courses are always 1:1 and only offered once a student has reached the knowledge and skill level needed to progress safely.

For me, it’s never been about simply handing out certificates.

It’s about developing safe, knowledgeable and confident piercers and continuing to support them as they grow. 🖤✨

This is a 2-day, hands-on course designed for complete beginners or anyone looking to add professional body piercing to their existing business.

We’ll cover all the essential theory including health & safety, studio hygiene, cross contamination and sterilisation, before getting plenty of hands-on practice.

Day one gives you time to get comfortable with needle control and practising on dummies (and each other🤭), before moving on to supervised live model work on day two 🙌

🎓 Piercings you’ll learn include:
Lobes, Helix, Tragus, Flat, Forward Helix, Conch, Rook, Daith, Nostril, Eyebrow, Labret & Bellybutton.
