Our show TOMORROW, Thursday 28th, features the first Mór Laughs appearance from the wonderful Stephanie Elle!

Stephanie brings both sharp one-liners and wide-eyed charm. Her debut New Zealand Fringe Festival show received high praise from sold-out audiences. Stephanie has performed at festivals worldwide including Body & Soul, Vodafone Comedy Carnival, New Zealand Irish Fest, and Edinburgh Fringe. She has also supported top acts including Kevin McAleer and Foil, Arms & Hog, and her online content has been featured on Buzzfeed.

We've got a great lineup tomorrow at and it's always free entry so make the most of the grand auld stretch in the evenings and join us in the beer garden for some laughs!

We're so pleased that our show on Thursday will feature the amazing Louisa ní Eadeáin!

Louisa is an award-winning performer, writer and emerging comedian who works in both English & Irish. She recently won Best New Act at the Bray Comedy Festival 2026. She has had two sell-out shows at Dublin Fringe festival and received critical acclaim for her sell-out show, Dopa-Mean Girl, in Edinburgh Fringe 2025 being described as ‘the kind of new Fringe arrival who could move from cult to household name in a flash’. She is also a native of Leixlip.

Free entry at O'Neill's Bar & Steakhouse Maynooth from 7:30, with South Africa's finest Neil Green, Louisa ní Éadeáin (Bray Comedy Festival Best New Act 2026), Stephanie Elle (New Zealand Fringe Festival) and Warren Martin. What a great show we have this month! Headlining is the amazing NEIL GREEN who's appeared on Comedy Central, toured and hosted shows throughout South Africa and now has an exciting Irish TV project coming soon. As if that's not enough, we'll be joined by the wonderful and award-winning LOUISA NÍ ÉIDEÁIN (who you might have seen at the amazing Funny Focail show at Mayhoots - Maynooth Comedy Festival) - plus STEPHANIE ELLE who's appeared at the New Zealand comedy fringe festival and returning favourite WARREN MARTIN who is about to start a full-month run of his show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! As ever we will be at the lovely O'Neill's Bar & Steakhouse Maynooth with free entry. Thursday 28 May from 7:30pm - see you there!

TOMORROW! We'll be kicking off Mayhoots - Maynooth Comedy Festival with some of the best comedians of the festival all doing rapid-fire sets. As ever, we'll be in the lovely beer garden at O'Neill's Bar & Steakhouse Maynooth. Why not join us for that post-work Friday evening pint? Show starts at 6:15!

Instead of our regular show this month we have something just as exciting - a special Friday night showcase to kick off Mayhoots comedy festival! Some of the festival's best acts will be doing rapid-fire, joke filled sets to pique your interest for their festival shows. The fun starts at 6:15 next Friday. Come join us for a HOOT to start the festival with a bang!

Hey , Just two weeks to go until Mayhoots comedy festival comes to Maynooth! If the world seems a bit too mad at the moment - why not come share a HOOT with us! Here's what you can expect as some of Ireland's best comedians come to Maynooth:
~ More than 30 comedy shows across Friday evening and all day Saturday
~ Shows at cozy venues across the town -
O'Neill's Bar & Steakhouse Maynooth Newtown Inn, McMahon's Gastrobar and Brady's Clockhouse
~ Performances from some of Ireland's most recognisable comedians, including Pat McDonnell (Father Ted), Joe Rooney (Father Ted, Killinaskully) and Edwin Sammon (Bridget & Eamon)
~ More than 20 free entry 'Pay What You Want' shows, open to everyone

Instead of this month's regular Mór Laughs show we will host a special 'best of the fest' showcase show at 6:15 (the show actually begins at 6:15pm!!) on Friday 24th April.

We're excited to announce our headliner for this month's Mór Laughs Comedy Club will be the one and only Abie Philbin Bowman!

Abie has performed numerous critically acclaimed solo shows as well as writing for and appearing in Irish Pictoral Weekly - and more RTÉ radio shows than we can list here. If you like your comedy witty and satirical, but not afraid to dip into the surreal and the silly - you won't want to miss this!

With amazing support from Brian McCormack and Louisa ní Éideáin, plus Robbie Fahey and club regular Warren Martin, this is set to be a great show, so see you at O'Neill's Bar & Steakhouse Maynooth from 7:30 on Thursday! Did we mention it's still free entry?
