Meet Timea, a Hungarian-born textile artist living in Ireland since 2006. Taught to crochet by her mother at just eleven years old, yarn has remained at the heart of her creative life ever since.

This exhibition focuses on her intricate crochet mandalas — meditative works built through rhythm, repetition, colour and symmetry. Each piece grows slowly, stitch by stitch, reflecting calm, patience and the quiet satisfaction of making by hand.

Alongside crochet, Timea works across weaving, knitting, sewing, lace making and upholstery, while also teaching adult evening classes and sharing traditional textile skills with others.
