It's been forever since I posted anything here.
What a 9 months it's been (no, there is no surprise baby 😆)
In September 2025 I started a fashion design course in also got diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma at the same time.
It's been a very bumpy road, with surgery, treatment, scans. The best decision was to keep going with the course, even when I had to miss quite a few days. We have the funniest group of people, such a great distraction from cancer. I am grateful for them and our tutor Jess never being awkward around me because of my diagnosis.
Here I am wearing famous comfy pants I made for myself, first year under my belt and looking forward to the new challenges in September. So much uncertainty in my future is a gentle reminder, Gerli, go and live your life and don't forget to do things you enjoy...
