IrishArtscape

IrishArtscape This site showcases a broad spectrum of Irish artists offering collectors and investors a wide range of styles and price points.

Each piece of work is presented with details of the artist, title, date, medium, size and price. Users can examine images and research the work of individual artists organized by category, subject and price. We also provide a bespoke service for artists, buyers and sellers (“Ask JP”) that allows for discrete inquiries about presenting work on the site or buying/selling specific pieces. IrishArtSca

pe has been founded by John P Quinlan, founder/director of the established Vangard Gallery, based in Cork, and Joe Gill, a stockbroker, with a lifelong interest in Irish art, based in Dublin.

This here is JP with an old friend, fellow Macrompian Jim Sheehy at the Christmas exhibition in the Vangard Gallery 2011. In a nutshell, Jim won an athletic scholarship to the U.S.A. in the 60's and, after a circuitous route, found himself as a master printmaker in Hollanders Workshop in New York. He really does have a story to tell and, hopefully, we will serialise his tale in irishartscape.com

Simon English recently made a series of exquisite watercolours - small in size, big on impact - 25 x 30 cm and for just €450. Now, I don't know how many of you people out there can spot a bargain when you see one but, believe me, this is one such occasion.
