A huge thank you to Aoife Ní Bhriain and Michael Holohan, and to all our sponsors for their support. Without all of you, none of this would be possible.

From all of us at Drogheda Community Orchestra, thank you for making it such a special afternoon. ❤️

Drogheda Community Orchestra

🎶 Community Orchestra by name, & in our hearts! 🎶

Over the summer, some of our members took part in fantastic workshops including the Termonfeckin Chamber Music Weekend, Inside the Orchestra at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Cellofest and the National Opera Workshop, where members joined musicians from around the country to perform excerpts from Dvořák’s Rusalka.
It’s been a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, learn from other musicians and develop our musicianship along the way. ❤️🎻

We look forward to bringing that enthusiasm, learning, and love of music to our upcoming concert on Sunday, 27th September at 5pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda. We hope you can join us for an afternoon of wonderful music

🎶 Different paths, one community, one orchestra. 🎶

Some members of the Drogheda Community Orchestra have crossed paths in so many ways before — from different backgrounds, different walks of life, and different corners of Drogheda’s musical community.

Now, they’re coming together again to make music as one. ❤️

This photo is a wonderful reflection of the vibrant and diverse musical community here in Drogheda.

Can you spot anyone you know? 👀🎻🎺

🎻🎺 A little glimpse behind the scenes…

Rehearsals are well underway for our upcoming Autumn Concert, and we were delighted to be joined by the incredible Aoife Ní Bhriain for rehearsals.

Here are a few moments from what was a fantastic rehearsal as we bring the programme together ahead of the big night.

We can’t wait to share this music with you — it’s shaping up to be a very special concert! 🎶🍂
