Galway by Suzuki teacher Maire Ní Dhuibhir. In September 2014 Music Matters moved to it's new premises in Loughrea to house it's 250 students, and many orchestras and music groups. As a non-profit the fees of students just cover minimal teaching fees. All other running costs such as insurance, rent, light and heat need to be covered by fundraising every year. Luckily Music Matters have secured sup
port from the Tús programme which provides a secretarial worker every year. Music Matters provides tuition on Violin, Piano, Guitar, Cello, and Viola, all taught by trained and qualified Suzuki teachers. There is also a conventional woodwind teacher available,along with tuition for the Leaving and Junior cert music papers. Outreach programmes: Music Matters now provides tuition in Oranmore, Mountbellew, and Ballinasloe.
