Here it is - the new oils workshop for June, now open for booking. On Sunday 28th June, we will be painting this beautiful Cliffs painting using a palette knife.

*All materials provided as well as tea/coffee/snacks.  All you need to bring is lunch and a smile.

*Suitable for all levels

It's a feeling like no other when you create a painting you are proud of.  In my oil painting workshops I take you step by step through colour mixing, composition and application of paint so you can walk away with a finished work of art in one day.

These workshops are designed to show you the fun of painting with oils and what they can do without the commitment of purchasing everything that goes with it - all materials are provided.

*All current students or returning workshop participants have a €20 discount for this event.

*All limited edition prints available in studio will be 10% off on the day.

Ts&Cs:

Due to materials required no refunds or credits will be issued if cancellation is within 2 weeks of the workshop unless the spot can be filled.  Please let me know if you need to cancel so that I can try and find a replacement and issue a refund for you.

If you have purchased a gift voucher with this event in mind you will still need to reserve your spot by purchasing a place online or notifying me (if it is a gift). In this instance the voucher will be designated to this workshop and all cancellation/refund policies apply within 2 weeks of the workshop.

Finishing times of the workshops may vary due to the complexity of each painting or the mixing involved.

Full marathon ✅

I'm so glad I did it, I have the medal, I'm proud of myself. But never again. That was ridiculous. Just stupid long.

Training was hard but enjoyable (even the long 32k run), hydration and fueling all to plan but something went wrong. I hit a pain wall at 26k (just after half way) and I was miserable for 10k. Somehow I ran out of it for the final push after 36k. Is that how everyone feels? The middle is the hardest?

I love running and I'll keep doing my half marathons ❤️ But never again 😂

Here are the May dates that I will be in Market 54 Thurles. 9th, 23rd and 30th.

I won't be there tomorrow because I'm running the Limerick marathon on Sunday so I need to skip the heavy lifting and rest up the legs for the big day. Send good vibes please! 🙈

But I will see you next weekend under the big tent.

Join our Summer Art Camp to keep your artists creating over the break.  Bookings now open and can be made through my website www.lauradunneart.com (link in my bio) or by contacting me directly.

Ages for the camp range from 5-12yrs so there is a wide range of activities tailored to the level of the student.

We will dabble with arts and crafts, using as many artistic supplies as we can to create lovely Summer themed artworks.  

Camps run from Mon - Thurs with all materials included.  3 Camp weeke to choose from.

There will be water/orange squash and cheese and onion crisps available for a snack each day.

All camps are in my studio just outside Loughmore, Co. Tipperary.

Hi guys, here is the May/June block of classes, Summer Camps, and May Oils Workshop (June workshop info to come). This is the last block for kids classes but I will be running 2 blocks over the summer for the Adult and Teen classes. This coming block has off for the 2 Monday bank holidays and one week family holidays.

Also please remember there is additional parking behind the studio so please do use this to try to keep the drive between the studio and the house free for the flow of traffic. Thanks, Laura
