Cruthú Arts Festival celebrates the wealth of artistic talent in the Midlands region by creating a positive, meaningful and fun engagement with the wider community. By enriching the town with exciting cultural events, exhibitions and installations, the programme helps to improve how Longford is perceived by its residents and further afield. From the legacy of Love Longford Festival in 2013, Cruthú

has grown to include pop-up galleries, street art, film, circus, traditional arts, theatre, community public arts projects as well as live music performances. Our programme showcases the work of local,national and international artists of all genres and provides opportunities to engage with the public in a variety of new and alternative performances. Cruthú is run by a voluntary group which includes experienced local artists and creative producers whose aim is to foster a vibrant and sustainable arts profile in Longford. Our artistic mission is to promote the arts through positive public engagement,inspire freedom of expression and awaken passion and curiosity for the arts.

Dear all,

As the curtains closed at St Mel's Cathedral on the tenth edition of the Cruthú Art's Festival, we find ourselves overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who made this event a resounding success and a celebration of creativity and imagination.

To our talented artists and performers, your breathtaking works of art and mesmerising performances breathed life into the festival, leaving audiences in awe and wonder. Your dedication to your craft and willingness to share your talents with the world is truly commendable, and we are honoured to have had you grace our stages.

To our hardworking volunteers and service providers your unwavering support and tireless efforts behind the scenes made everything possible. From managing logistics to ensuring smooth operations, your commitment and enthusiasm were instrumental in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

To our generous sponsors and commercial partners, your belief in our vision and unwavering support allowed us to dream bigger and bolder, making the Cruthú Art's Festival a reality year after year. Your contributions have enabled us to showcase the diverse talents of artists and foster a vibrant cultural community.

4pm Sunday on Valentine's Beer Garden!

TBL8 Brass are a big-band inspired brass and stage ensemble based in Dublin. Established in June 2017, TBL8 combines over 50 years’ worth of playing experience among its members from varied musical backgrounds. They pride themselves in performing both original compositions as well as original arrangements based on modern pop songs.

Throughout their tenure, they have developed key relationships with Irish event planners such as Bodytonic, Turning Pirate, Diageo, and Rockabilly. They have played at high-profile events across popular Irish venues including Whelans, Jam Park, Sin É, as well as popular festivals such as Electric Picnic, Cork Jazz Festival, Beatyard, The Big Grill, Oktoberfest and others.
