A huge thank you to Mayor John Moran and to everyone at Limerick City and County Council for recognizing our achievement in reaching our 50th anniversary, having been founded in 1976!

The scroll was presented at our 50th anniversary party and accepted by the founding members of Torch Players. These members were Maurice O'Sullivan, Brian Kelly, Tony McMahon, Vincent O’Regan and Una Kett (on behalf of her father Brendan Nash RIP). We were delighted to be acknowledged on this brilliant achievement and are extremely grateful for Mayor John Moran and his husband Damian attending our party.

We are so appreciative for all of the support over that last 50 years and look forward to the next 50!

There are so many people to thank for the success of our Trio of One-Act plays ... i hope i don't forget anyone but forgive me if i do!

Firstly, thank you to all our amazing actors - Bernadette Hayes, Muireann Carr, Eoghan Cantillon Mann, Yasna Tofail, Paul McCarthy, Peter Hayes, Mary Jones, Paddy Kelly, Declan McLoughlin and Brian Kelly. Thanks to our directors - Maurice O'Sullivan, Gerry Lombard and Daordre Minogue. Thanks to our wonderful Stage Manager Ava Hennessy and ASM Niamh Casey.

Thanks to Pius McGrath and Seoirse Byrne for setting up our lights, Justin Dunne for operating the lights, and Hayley O Neill for operating our sound. Thanks to Liz Kiely for our live music for the plays. Thanks to Ciara Sexton & Naoimi Harris for choreography. Thanks also to our MCs - Joanne O'Brien and Sheenagh Murphy.

Thanks to all the staff of the Peoples Museum of Limerick, especially Ash, who were so helpful and accomodating to us while we were there. Thanks to Patricia Hartnett and Ollie Hayes for programme selling. Thanks to Abbey Hennessy for managing FOH so efficiently.
Thanks to Gerry Lombard, Brian Griffin, Mike O'Regan, Noel Dillon, and Justin Dunne for the set-organisation and set- building. Thanks to Nick Anton, Limetree, for the drapes. Thanks to Mike Burke for the transportation of the set. Thanks to Owen Butler for recording the show for us. Thanks to SVP, St. Joseph's Hall, Charlie Malones and LYT for their help. The Siamsa Experience presents a rehearsed reading!
