With a blaring music from my headphones I am trying to remember how we met… or did we even?
Do sneaking glances and ‘unintentional’ touches, thought dialogues and self-explained actions count as meeting?
Does knowing a name mean knowing a person?
Shimmers ran down my spine just from an idea of how your breath would feel on my skin. Twinkle of your lashes seized me into a tempestuous storm, while your conniving smile cut my chest open and revealed warm, eagerly beating heart. Naked. Waiting for your piercing gaze to shred it apart. Suddenly my entire existence was depending on fulfilling the most insignificant of your demands.
I felt like I knew you, instantly.
I knew you.
Or did I confused knowing for wanting? Knowing so good for wanting so severe.
I was a goner long before I have even learned Your name.
When I have heard your deep raucous voice stealthily stutter, as our eyes met,
time had stopped,
world had vanished and I died...instant and senseless death.
In slow motion I watch your sultry lips moving softly, while each syllable cut through my skin like an old blunt razor. Each word cutting deeper, longer, unbearable...
I stood there, shredded to pieces and yet every remaining piece of me, was wanting you.
Wanting more than anything else, more than anyone has ever wanted.
More than I thought is possible.
More than I could comprehend. All of the sudden all I ever wanted was you.
Only you.
Utterly, immediately, sorely you.
If the last thing I would ever see will be a shadowy glimpse of satisfaction and contentment in your rapturous eyes,
that’s enough.
More than enough.
And I finally could be freed. But I am not. I am still here
…
