TAN is written and performed by Marie Boylan and Ann Blake and directed by Myles Breen. TAN, premiered in February 2012 to a sell out run in The Loft in Limerick and came back in June only to sell out again. We toured to the Galway Fringe Festival, and are delighted to announce that we will be taking part in the 10 Days in Dublin Festival from July 9th-13th 2013 (7pm), in The Theatre Upstairs Venu
e, and we'll be back in The Savoy in Limerick for two nights on July 26th and 27th! Join Aisling and Siobhán, two Limerick girls, as they get ready for a night on the town. Putting on their make-up, discussing the ‘lads’, ordering the taxi, straightening the hair, then backcombing the hair, drinking the vodka, bitching about their friends and applying that all important fake TAN! Giving an amusing while somewhat disturbing insight into what can go on when girls are getting ready for a night out, TAN is an energetic comedy that promises to entertain and, in its own way, educate.
“I learned more about women watching this show than I did from six series of Sex and the City.”
Karl Spain, Comedian
"Both actresses were wonderfully expressive and their performances seemed effortless…TAN is sharp and funny…an energetic romp about friendship and female bonding, which comes from the unique perspective of the event before the event."
