♠️♥️ Monthly Freezeout Recap ♦️♣️
Another fantastic night at our Monthly Freezeout, and it's great to see this event continuing to grow! 🙌
Despite a few of our regulars being away on holidays ☀️✈️ (and maybe tempted by the good weather 🌞), we still welcomed 31 players through the doors for another brilliant night of poker. 🎉
💰 Prize Pool: €1,860
As promised, we've introduced a Monthly Winner's Trophy 🏆. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive in time for this event, but don't worry... once it lands, it won't have far to travel! 😉
There were two deals on the night:
🎯 A deal was made to pay the bubble.
🤝 Then, once play reached Heads-Up, the remaining prize money was split evenly, with €580 each.
With both players sitting on almost identical chip stacks, they decided to let fate decide the champion by blind playing the final hand! 😲
🃏 Aiden Walters looked to have the edge after peeling over 5♣️-2♠️, while Aileen found herself holding poker's infamous 7-2.
The flop brought a 5, putting Aiden firmly in control... but poker always has one last twist! 😅
🌟 A dramatic 7 on the river turned everything around, giving Aileen the winning hand and crowning her the Monthly Freezeout July Champion! 🏆👏
Congratulations to Aileen on a memorable victory, and well done to everyone who took part. Thanks again for the fantastic support—we're already looking forward to seeing you all at the next one on August 13th♠️♥️♦️♣️
