Renowned for her distinctive voice, fearless songwriting and spellbinding stage presence, Lisa O’Neill has become one of the most vital and respected figures in contemporary folk music. Her songs weave together history, politics, compassion and myth, delivered with a rare emotional honesty that has earned her widespread critical acclaim.

Support from Marcus Magee, a songwriter from County Cavan blends folk, and alternative influences with raw, story-driven songwriting. His debut album, Rising from the Hollaw, was released in 2024 and recorded with his band, The Hollaws. His music has received national radio play, with RTÉ Radio 1’s Fiachna Ó Braonáin describing “Mac Dee” as “a beautiful and poignant piece of work.” For this solo performance, the songs will be stripped back to their folk roots, delivering an intimate setlist, centred on resilience, hope and lived experience.

As I Lay Dreaming is a poignant memory play centred on Annie McGinley, a Donegal woman reflecting on the news of American artist Rockwell Kent’s death.

Rockwell Kent had spent four months in the Glencolmcille area immersed in the culture and terrain. Living in a converted cowshed he dubbed the “Waldorf-Astoria,” the charismatic but controversial Kent captured the rugged landscape and its people, eventually persuading a twenty-year-old Annie to pose for a portrait. The resulting painting sparked a clash between Kent’s modern artistic philosophy and the community’s traditional values, some of whom deemed the work “improper”.

Through Annie’s vivid memories, the play explores the transformative power of art, the passage of time, and the enduring, “sacred” connection between an artist and his muse.

The narrative weaves between the present, Kent’s nostalgic 1958 return, and the “idyllic” summer of 1926 when he first arrived in the remote, roadless valley of Glenlough.

Shaun Byrne is a writer/director from Ballybofey. This is his fifth play after An Incident with Dave Cotter, Darkness Echoing, Margaret, and One Night at Glenlough.

Harvest (a tribute to Neil Young) have been thrilling audiences across Ireland for over 15 years, selling out major venues including the National Concert Hall and 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin, the CQAF Festival Marquee in Belfast, and venues in Cork and Kilkenny.

Now the band bring their acclaimed full 8 piece show to Donegal for the very first time, making their debut at An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny on Sat 19th Sept 2026.

In a remarkable milestone, Harvest recently received recognition from Neil Young himself, who posted a heartfelt message of appreciation on his official website after watching one of their performances.

Expect powerful, faithful renditions of classics such as “Heart of Gold”, “Harvest Moon”, “Old Man” and “Rockin’ in the Free World” along with deep cuts from across Young’s remarkable catalogue.

FRANK STAGG 50th anniversary play

A historically accurate and deeply human account of the events surrounding the three funerals of Frank Stagg who died after 62 days on hunger strike.

Written by Brían MacSuibhne and set in 70’s Leigue Cemetery, Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Developed with the blessing and factual input of the Stagg family, We Have Him Back! tells the story of a mother watching her son die, a wife confronting official falsehoods, a sister struggling to understand, and a brother whose love and resolve would not allow history to be buried in silence. Weaving documented conversations, world and national news, music, and life in 1970s rural Ireland, grounds the personal tragedy into a wider historical moment.

“It conveys my brother Frank with honesty, dignity and accuracy. It honours not only his sacrifice, but the pain, courage and determination of our family in the face of Frank’s treatment even after his death.” George Stagg

A major heritage and commemorative project, exploring themes of family, human rights and Section 31 State censorship. It is intended for audiences across generations: those with living memory and those encountering this tragic history for the first time.

Paddy is back with a brand new show for another unforgettable night of laughter!!!

Paddy largely bases his comedy from tales of working as a taxi man to everyday tales of being a husband and father. To date, McDonnell has had five one man shows with his Dagger show being the highlight of the Belfast Belly Laugh’s Festival in 2015, selling out and getting a 5-star review.

Paddy is a regular performer at all the main Belfast comedy nights, has hosted The Empire’s “Belfast Laugh’s Back” comedy club as well as being the first comedian to have played the West Belfast Feile six times.

Paddy has shared the stage with acts including Frankie Boyle, Jason Manford, Paddy Kielty and Andrew Maxwell.
