There was a near accident this morning at Confey Graveyard and Confey Gaa. A car coming from the Clonsilla direction flew past and almost hit a cyclist with a child on the back. Overtaking them at a high speed and nearly hitting a oncoming van.

Would it be a idea which will also help cars leaving Confey Graveyard and Confey Gaa in busy days to put traffic lights on each side like the attached AI photos? A yellow junction box would be put in. Open to discussion to make this area safe for all.

***PLEASE SHARE*** Sadly this male tabby was just brought in deceased after being hit by a car near Westfield estate, Leixlip. The driver never stopped!! Thanks to Sarah and others for going to his rescue and staying with him. Hes with us in the vets now if anyone missing him, RIP 😥

Note received

This dog is roaming around Avondale and has been doing its business. I don’t know if it is lost or left to roam.just really sick of people letting their dogs go to the toilet everywhere.its littered with dog faeces as is and it’s disgusting.i genuinely cannot understand why someone would be ok with this.
