The Seán MacDiarmada Summer School 2024 takes place on Friday the 31st of May and Saturday the 1st of June. This year, there will be speakers delving into the subject of A Global and Economic Social Crisis: With constantly changing political circumstances worldwide, how can Ireland’s political establishment navigate its way forward? Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will officially open the School at Seán MacDiarmada’s cottage at 5:30p.m. with shuttle buses operating from the Heritage Centre from 5p.m. There will be light refreshments at the Community Centre after the opening and will be followed by a presentation by Mr Ahern and Ciaran Mullooly.
