Why does nobody want mešŸ˜šŸ’”šŸ˜? I don’t get it... I’m super-cuddly, cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and the humans at CAW say I’m handsome too (though I’m not convincedšŸ˜”)! Maybe my person just hasn’t seen me yet – please share to help me reach them today!šŸ™

In case we haven’t met before – my name’s Bruno, and I’m almost 3 years old. I’m a Malinois, which means I’m clever and need my exercise! But mostly, my favourite thing in the world is CUDDLES!!! The humans all call me THE KING OF CUDDLESšŸ‘‘, but I also love my belly rubs, scritches, and just lounging about and keeping you company as you go about your day.

I love learning new things and keeping my clever brain engaged – so I’d love to find a human who’s interested in positive dog training. I get very excited when treats are involvedšŸ–šŸ¤© I’d also love it if my person or family enjoys getting out and about, and taking me on fun walks every day!

I’m living happily with two other dogs in my foster home, and I’ve lived with cats before too – I was very respectful of them, if I may say so myself🐱🐾 Children can be a little overstimulating for me, so I’m looking for a child-free home where I can chill out.

I’ve been waiting for a few months now, and I’d really love for this to be my last ever adoption appealšŸ’”šŸ¤ž If you live anywhere in Ireland and would love to take me home, please fill out the form below and choose me, Bruno (aka The King of Cuddles🄰):

Update: Applications closed! Thanks so much to everyone who applied, and sorry that we won't be able to get back to everyone – Multi has been a popular little fella!..

Say hello to our newest boy, MultišŸ‘‹šŸ„° This sweet little lad has recently lost the only home he’s ever known... His family have become homeless and had to move into emergency accommodation where pets aren’t allowed, leaving them with the heartbreak of saying goodbye to their beloved dogšŸ’”

Despite losing his beloved family, Multi has settled beautifully into his foster home and is now ready to find his forever peoplešŸ”šŸ’• Please give him a share to help us find the happy ending he deservesšŸ™

Multi is 8 years old, and a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Jack Russell Terrier. He has the most adorable little underbitešŸ˜ He’s an absolute dream to have around – quiet, calm, gentle and kind. Multi is great with other dogs and children and has happily lived with both before. He hasn’t lived with cats, however, so we’re looking for a cat-free home for him.

This lovely boy is house-trained, great in the car and a pleasure to walk on the lead. He’s the kind of easy-going companion who will happily fit into family life and be grateful for a comfy bed and plenty of love🄰

If you’d love to offer Multi the loving forever home he deserves, please fill out our pre-adoption form here:

UPDATE: This lovely boy is now sorted! The vets found a lovely foster home for him, and he will find his forever home in Sweden, through the amazing animal rescuer Mags Quinn. Thanks for all the name suggestions - the vets went for Hank, which was suggested a few times below in the comments. It really suits him!..

Are there any lovely people out there who could foster this gorgeous boy for us? Please share to help us find someone! Also, this poor fella doesn’t have a name, so drop your suggestions belowšŸ™šŸ¾

This big sweetie-pie was heartbreakingly dumped in the Clare Glens and left to fend for himselfšŸ’”šŸ’” Thankfully, a kind person who was out walking found him and brought him to a vet, where he’s now safe.

The vets reached out to us to see if we had a suitable foster space available, but sadly we don’t. We’re ideally looking for someone with experience of bull breeds, as he’s a big, strong lad🐶

Despite what he’s been through, he’s super-friendly and absolutely adores all the staff at the clinicšŸ˜ He can’t stay there much longer, so we really need your help to spread the word and find someone willing to open their home to himšŸ™

Because it’s often so difficult to find homes for bull breeds, we’re considering foster homes anywhere in the Republic of Ireland. If you have good experience and would love to rescue this big friendly cuddle-bug, please send us a messagešŸ”šŸ’•
We honestly don't know what will happen to him if we can’t help himšŸ’”

We DESPERATELY need to find two foster carers for two lovely Collie pups (or one who might foster both!) – please spread the word!šŸ™šŸ¾šŸ™

These 10-month-old Border Collie boys are both waiting to come into our care, but we don’t have any suitable foster homes available right now. We’re hoping to find two new fosterers in Clare or nearby who are willing to open their hearts and homes to these lovely pups while we search for their forever familiesšŸ”šŸ’•

A kind family took in Ziggy and Slash from an elderly farmer. His dog had given birth to an unexpected litter and he was struggling to care for the pups. The family has done a fantastic job giving the two boys a safe start, but they’ve realised that they don’t have the time to give two energetic young Collies the life they deserve. They reached out to us to help rehome them, and can only keep them until next week😬

Ziggy (left) and Slash (right) are kind, incredibly clever, and have gentle, loving natures🄰🐾 They adore people, and really thrive on human company and affection. They have been living with three children, including one as young as four, and they are wonderful with them all.

Both boys get along really well with other dogs too, but they are a little too fond of chasing cats!

If you could offer one of these sweet young boys a safe place to stay while we search for his forever home, please fill out our fostering form below, and select either Slash or Ziggy from the drop-down list. If there are any kind souls out there who might consider fostering both boys, please write that on the form. And if you think you might be interested in fostering with a view to adoption, just let us know on the same form:

Sadly, we’ve had no offers from anyone to foster this lovely girlšŸ’” Please share to help Yuki have better luck this timešŸ™šŸ™

Yuki is a beautiful 1-year-old Akita who we rescued from a horrible situation just last week. The poor girl had spent months alone outside in a small garden, and neighbours had even witnessed her being beaten several timesšŸ’” She is currently staying with our director, but she’s frightened of the dogs at his place, so we need to find her a dog-free foster home asap.

Despite enduring neglect and cruelty, Yuki absolutely ADORES people. She is affectionate, gentle, cuddly, loves children, and is happiest when she’s close to her humans🄰

Because she was never properly socialised, walked, or given the opportunity to enjoy life, everything is still quite new to her. But she’s embracing her second chance with enthusiasm and curiosity. With patience and positive experiences, her confidence around other dogs will grow in time.

As we haven’t tested her with cats, she also needs a cat-free home. Experience with large energetic breeds would be ideal. If you’re based in Clare or a neighbouring county (Limerick, West Tipperary, South Galway, West Offaly, or North Kerry) and could offer Yuki a temporary home for a few weeks, please fill out our fostering form below. If there’s a chance you might be interested in adopting her after fostering, you can let us know on the same form:

This is extremely worrying... Shanakyle Bawnie’s page on GRI’s website has been deleted😱 We believe he’s the poor white greyhound who’s wearing a cruel anti-bark muzzle in the footage and photos we received from our source. He was the only white greyhound listed as belonging to Shanakyle Syndicate, so we are almost certain that it’s him.

We need your help to find out what happened to him, as we fear the absolute worst. Please share this postšŸ™, and also email your TDs to ask them to request an immediate update from the Minister for Agriculture on the status of Shanakyle Bawnie. You can find your TDs’ email addresses at https://www.contactyourtd.ie/
Please also email the Minister directly at [email protected] and [email protected]

Please also email the Welfare Manager of Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI), Barry Coleman: [email protected]

As GRI is a semi-state body, which receives almost 20 million in public funding each year, we have a right to know what has happened to this gentle, sweet-natured dog. Recent figures released by GRI show that two-thirds of racing greyhounds born in 2021 and 2022 are now DEAD (as published in the Irish Examiner and Journal last week). We CANNOT let Shanakyle Bawnie simply disappear and become another horrific statistic – one of the thousands of poor dogs who are killed at a young age EVERY YEAR when they are no longer profitable to the racing industry.

Along with the other greyhounds in the dark shack on the derelict site near Parteen, Shanakyle Bawnie ALMOST had the chance to find a loving home through GRI’s rehoming service, the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust (IRGT). Those of you who have been following the Parteen greyhound case will know that after we released the footage of the shack’s interior, the public pressure we all applied led to the dogs being removed and being placed in an IRGT foster home. We were led to believe that the dogs were being prepared for rehoming, but they were sadly returned to the hell hole over a month lateršŸ’”

Please keep the pressure on, until we get justice for Shanakyle Bawnie and the other poor dogs owned by Shanakyle Syndicate. Public pressure really works!!šŸ’Ŗ

FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED FOR YUKIšŸšØšŸ” Please spread the word!! šŸ™šŸšØ

Can anyone open their home to Yuki for a couple of weeks? This beautiful 1-year-old Akita is currently staying with our director, but with several other dogs already at his place, it’s proving to be an overwhelming environment for her. Yuki is nervous around certain dogs and would be much happier in a foster home where she can be the only pet while we search for her forever family.

Yuki has already been through far too much in her short life. Before being rescued, she was left alone in a small garden for months, and neighbours had witnessed her being beatenšŸ’” Despite having been neglected and abused, Yuki absolutely adores people🄰 She’s affectionate, friendly, cuddly, loves children, and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. Since she was never properly socialised, walked, or given the chance to enjoy life before, she’s now embracing every new experience with enthusiasm✨

We’re looking for a foster home where Yuki can be the only dog, so that she can build her confidence around other dogs at her own pace. We haven’t tested her with cats, so she also needs a cat-free home. Experience with large, energetic breeds would be a huge advantage, with a patient fosterer who can help her to adjust to home life while we search her forever family.

If you’re based in Counties Clare, Limerick, West Tipperary, South Galway, West Offaly or North Kerry, and would love to help this sweet and cuddly girl, please fill out our fostering form below. You can let us know on the same form if you think you might like to adopt her after a period of fostering. And if you can’t foster right now but would love to help, please share this post to help us find her a temporary homešŸ™šŸ¾ā¤ļø

Awwww, we thought Yuki would be snapped up straight away after her Facebook debut on FridayšŸ˜šŸ’” Can you give her a share today and help her have better luck?šŸ™šŸ¾šŸ”

We’re so surprised this gorgeous Akita girl got very little attention. Just LOOK at her! šŸ˜ Yuki is only 1 year old and has so much love to give. Since coming into our care, she’s shown us what a sweet, affectionate and people-loving dog she really is. She absolutely adores human company, loves meeting new people, and is happiest when she’s getting cuddles and attention from her favourite humansšŸ„°šŸ’•

What makes Yuki even more special is that she has every reason not to trust people. Before being rescued, she spent months alone in a small garden with very little companionship, and neighbours witnessed her being beaten on numerous occasionsšŸ’” Yet somehow this beautiful girl still greets people with a wagging tail and an open heart🄹

Now that she’s discovered walks, adventures, affection and cosy home comforts, she’s embracing life with both paws🐾 She’s an energetic young Akita who would love an active family to help her enjoy all the experiences she missed out on during her first year.

Yuki would like to be the only dog in her new home, as she’s currently a bit nervous around other dogs. With patience, kindness and positive experiences, her confidence around other dogs will continue to grow over time. She hasn’t been tested with cats, so she needs a cat-free home too. We’d love to find a family where she won’t be left alone for long periods, because after being neglected for so long, she really treasures being with her people🄰

If you live in Ireland and would like to offer Yuki the loving forever home she deserves, please fill out our adoption form below:
