K-FEST arts festival leads the way with an emphasis on emerging visual artists, music and drama and also includes family events. The festival uses unoccupied spaces in Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland to become bespoke pop-up galleries and venues over the festival weekend.

K-FEST 2025 – Looking to the Future

We have an important update to share with our wonderful K-FEST community.

After much reflection, we have made the decision not to hold K-FEST in 2025. However, this is not a year off—it is a year to rebuild, strengthen, and plan for an even better future.

Over the next year, we will be taking a step back to:
✅ Restructure festival operations and improve the volunteer experience
✅ Work with expert advisers to refine our governance and management
✅ Explore the future direction of the festival in an evolving arts landscape
✅ Ensure that K-FEST can continue to thrive for years to come

This decision was not made lightly, but we know it is the right one for the festival’s longevity. K-FEST is here to stay, and 2026 will mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

In the meantime, we will still be bringing arts and culture to Killorglin with occasional one-off events throughout 2025.

Thank you for your ongoing support—we can’t wait to share what’s next!

Tim has been involved in the making of K-FEST Arts & Music Festival since its beginning all the way back in 2013. He has been head of Music, the Chairperson and since then the Festivals Director and has worked tirelessly each year to bring the very best to Killorglin through his hard work and commitment!

All the K-FEST Committee are delighted to wish him the Best of Luck in his Campaign!

K-FEST is thrilled to welcome back Kseniia Rusnak , who enthralled us in 2022 with her performances on Ukraine's national instrument, the Bandura. 🌟

We're also delighted to announce that Ukrainian Code, a choir based in Kerry, will be joining us! 🎶

🎙POETRY WORKSHOP🎙 - Book your spot now!

Finding your Voice Poetry Writing Workshop

A poetry writing workshop for anyone with an interest in finding ways of expressing themselves through words. Facilitated by All-Ireland Poetry Slam Champion Anna Doran and spoken word poet and lyricist Mikey Cullen.

The workshop will be a safe space to explore approaches to writing poetry. Using the visual art at K FEST, as well as some spoken word as writing prompts, participants can explore their own emotional worlds through creative writing in an inspiring and supportive environment.
