Phase 1 of Siamsa Tire window mural commission is complete and installed on Castle Street, Tralee as part of the Tralee Chamber Window Competition. Phase 2 will be installed by Thur 10th Dec. We hope you enjoy Kerry artist and Kerry ETB art student, Marie O'Donoghue's interpretation of what Siamsa means to her... With more panels to come next week to complete the picture!

Hello there! My name is Marie and I am a Killarney based artist. I provide a service in which I sketch from photographs, creating portraits of your loved ones for you, capturing moments in time - be it the pure essence of childhood, or a fond memory that will live on forever. I have learned that in today's world there is no greater gift than our family and friends, so why not celebrate it!

My work is based on my belief that a portrait should be candid and natural, capturing the subjects' personalities resulting in a truly unique, personal treasure that makes an extremely special gift or keepsake.

I create your portraits using pencil and charcoal on excellent quality, 250 gsm, acid-free paper of various sizes depending on the number of people/pets involved. All drawings are sprayed with a protective spray.

I will be taking bookings through Facebook messenger or alternatively through email (see "info"). If you have any queries or are undecided on an image, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to help!

Although I am based in Killarney, Co. Kerry, I will gladly facilitate those that are outside this area.*
