✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Nola & Eva ✨

Nola Rose García is no stranger to the stage. She is 18 years old and she’s been performing on stage since she was a little girl. Participating in multiple musicals as the characters of Dorothy, ms trunchbull and Tracy Turnblad. Nola loves art, playing the guitar, singing and dancing. She dedicates her free time to write songs. She is very passionate about music, hoping to persue musical theatre in the future.

Eva Mary García Donohoe has always been enthusiastic about performing. She’s participated in school choir and singing events, Musical Theatre and Pantos. Eva won Miss first year last year she loves dancing, playing volleyball and doing gymnastics. Eva has taken part in school performances and has played the role of teenage Fiona in Shrek.

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Kate Martin ✨

Kate Martin is 16 years old, and currently living in Bennettsbridge. She is a Transition Year student in Loreto Secondary School Kilkenny.

Kate hasalways had a love for performing, from a very young age. She plays the concertina, and has been travelling and performing with her instrument since just 7 years old, so the stage is nothing new to her.

Kate has always loved singing too, although she never used to sing outside her bedroom. This year, Kate played one of the main female roles, “Ms Sherman” in Fame the Musical, for her TY musical. She loved singing on stage, and it brought her out of her comfort zone, and encouraged her to keep singing.

Kate is so excited to meet everyone, and can’t wait for the night of the final!

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Ruby Burke ✨

Ruby is 16 years old, she lives in Clara and is in 4th year in Presentation Secondary School in Kilkenny.

Ruby loves singing, dancing, and acting, and has been performing since she was just 3 years old. 

She is a member of several dance and stage schools and has taken part in many productions over the years. Some of Ruby’s favourite experiences include appearing on the The Late Late Toy Show, playing the role of Louisa with KMS, and starring as Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. 

Ruby is absolutely delighted to have made the final and is really looking forward to performing on the night.

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Stephen Stuart ✨

Stephen Stuart is in second year going into third in Colaiste Abhainn Ri Callan. 

Stephen loves singing as it’s very much in his blood with his father and grandfather accomplished singers.

Stephen is also an award winning actor having won an award in the underground film and cinema awards for his leading role as Danny in an iadt short film. He also has a main role in Barnstorm’s Alice Kytler project.  He played the role of a young DJ Carey in the recent RTE documentary. 

Stephen is also a champion boxer having won the regionals the last two years. He’s a talented kickboxer and also enjoys rugby and hurling.

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Emily Butler ✨

My name is Emily Butler, I am 17 years old and I am a fifth year student in Loreto Kilkenny. I have always loved preforming and singing. I have been playing piano since I was 9 years old and I have been playing guitar for 2 years.

My favourite role I have played was in my TY musical as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical.It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait for many more good experiences to come.

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Charley Harding ✨

Charley, 13, from Kilkenny, is in first year in Presentation Secondary School.

She has been involved in lots of productions with Kilkenny Academy of Dance and has been in the last four Kilkenny Pantos. Charley is also a Morea Performing Arts Associate.

She is having a great week as she is dancing in the Watergate Theatre with Kilkenny Academy of Dance and also preparing for this concert. 

Her other interests include film, piano and mountain biking.
