All of us in Kilkenny Musical Society wish to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Méabh O'Connor. We were so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, and several of us share happy memories of our time on stage with Méabh over the years through our mutual involvement in various theatre and musical groups. We are especially thinking of her parents, Don and Carole, brothers Steven and David and sister Kate; so many of us have worked with the O'Connor family in productions over the years and we are truly sorry for your sad loss. We are also thinking of Méabh's fiancé Nick, her extended family and many friends. Suaimhneas síoraí dá hanam uasal. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Pub Quiz last night! It was a fantastic evening and we really appreciate everyone who came out to support.

Congratulations to our winning team - Orla, Kevin, Sophie & Siobhan. A well-deserved victory after a great night of fun. 🏆👏

Thanks to our quiz host Johnny in John Cleere's Bar & Theatre who will definitely be remembered for his ‘Name that tune’ round, to everyone who took part, donated prizes, helped organise the event and made the night such a success. Your support means so much to Kilkenny Musical Society and we can’t wait to see you at our next event!

Have you ever thought about taking to the stage? Now’s your chance!

Kilkenny Musical Society is looking for MEN to join the cast of our upcoming production of The Hired Man.

We’re casting ensemble members and cameo roles so whether you’re an experienced performer or completely new to musical theatre, we’d love to meet you!

✨ MEET THE FINALISTS: Nola & Eva ✨

Nola Rose García is no stranger to the stage. She is 18 years old and she’s been performing on stage since she was a little girl. Participating in multiple musicals as the characters of Dorothy, ms trunchbull and Tracy Turnblad. Nola loves art, playing the guitar, singing and dancing. She dedicates her free time to write songs. She is very passionate about music, hoping to persue musical theatre in the future.

Eva Mary García Donohoe has always been enthusiastic about performing. She’s participated in school choir and singing events, Musical Theatre and Pantos. Eva won Miss first year last year she loves dancing, playing volleyball and doing gymnastics. Eva has taken part in school performances and has played the role of teenage Fiona in Shrek.
