That’s a wrap!
The curtain falls on The Weir and our thanks to all who attended this week and last (and to a full house of students on Thursday morning). While we had to break for Friday’s scheduled performance, it’s been a whirlwind two weeks for shows and a busy few months to bring one of Conor McPherson’s finest works to the stage.
Our thanks also to Seamus Quigley and all the team at Thomastown Concert Hall and Community Centre, our show sponsors, supporters, friends of Lake Productions, media, our committee and all who’ve helped spread the word and bring The Weir to life.
We hope you enjoyed our staging of The Weir and, if you missed out, it won’t be long before we’re back with our next adventure.
A special thanks also to our crew including director Darren Donohoe, Dee Gibney, Emily Murray Kelly, Brendan Maguire, Jo-Ann Cody, Clare Gibbs, Terry Brennan and Ken McGuire.
Keep your eyes peeled for Brendan Gleeson, Owen McDonnell, Seán McGinley, Kate Phillips, and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor in a film adaptation, currently in production in Ireland.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
