Our 3 week Mini June Term starts next week! This is a great opportunity to try out new styles or just to keep active and energised over the month of June. We have classes available from 2 years upwards, with a few interesting styles to keep our dancers motivated! This is suitable for both current and new students! We had the best time this weekend going out for dinner, debriefing the show, and reflecting on what an incredible year we’ve had in our school. So lucky to call this our job, and so lucky to have the best community dancing with us and supporting us. We can’t believe it’s gone so quickly, how is it the last week of term already??
We’ve sent out an email today about our Mini June Term starting next week, make sure to book in and stay dancing with us this summer!

We couldn’t let show week pass without saying how emotional it makes us feel to see all these past pupils coming back to visit us and help at the show. It’s really an honour to know that you never truly leave the KAD family once you join, and every year we look forward to seeing any past students and learning about their lives after us, especially when we hear they are still dancing in some way!!

🎉IT’S SHOW DAY🎉
Our shows are finally starting today!! It’s time for audiences to see all our students hard work and passion shine through on stage. We will have programmes available in the Watergate Theatre at all of our Peter Pan and Encore shows. They are just €3 and we will be taking cash only so please bring some coins!! They are so wonderfully designed by GK Print , make sure to pick one up!

🎉1 day countdown to the show!🎉
Our shows start TOMORROW!!! We might explode with excitement. We spent the day rehearsing again with more students and we got to see what all the backdrops and lighting will be like. It’s going to be incredible. Make sure you get your tickets from the Watergate Theatre today!!

🎉2 day countdown to our shows!🎉
Today we packed up and headed into the Watergate Theatre . We spent the day hanging costumes, testing lighting and sound systems, rehearsing dances, and printing more lists than you would think is humanly possible. Watching the dances on the stage today is a new level of excitement for all of us teachers, we can’t WAIT for audiences to see it all. Tickets available via the Watergate Theatre now!!

Show week is finally here!!!
We spent today in our studio, packing up and sorting all the costumes for Peter Pan and Encore. We can’t wait to get into the theatre tomorrow and set everything up, ready for our shows to start on Thursday. The excitement is REAL.

We spent today in the studio with all our incredible seniors doing the last run throughs of our shows before we head to the theatre. The hard work and dedication all our students have shown these past few weeks is amazing and we are SO excited for audiences to see all this effort and talent shine onstage.

We are so excited to announce our chosen charity for this year. Kilkenny Academy of Dance offers a fully staged dance production featuring all of our students every alternate year in The Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny - proceeds of which are given to a different charity each time chosen by our students. This year, we have chosen to make a donation to the Kilkenny branch of Enable Ireland
