A little shameless plug today & not a slime jar in sight 👀

Remember when Slime Banshee closed up shop for a month over the summer? Well, this is what we were up to! 👻

My son Senan is back playing Kevin in Season 3 of The Unreal on RTÉ and the first trailer is here!

We spent a gorgeous few weeks up in Donegal while Senan was filming and what a beautiful part of the country it is. This season even features the Morrígan 🐦‍⬛ from Irish mythology, so I reckon I can just about get away with sharing it on the Slime Banshee page 😬💜

It's such a fantastic series, with brilliant storytelling from Rodney Lee and a really amazing cast and crew. I'm so proud of Senan and it's been such a privilege to see all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to bring it all together.

Season 3 starts Sunday 25 October at 4:40pm on RTÉ One.

Into the Sídhe takes us through a hidden doorway and into the mysterious world of the Sídhe, a place of ancient magic, hidden beneath and beyond the landscape. 🍄

We wanted this slime to feel like discovering your own secret entrance, with a soft purple glow, tiny woodland treasures and a little door just waiting to be opened.

From the land, the story now turns towards the sea.

Beyond Nine Waves is inspired by the journey across the water and the old idea of travelling beyond nine waves, leaving the immediate reach of the shore behind.

We wanted this slime to feel like a little piece of the ocean, bright, cool and full of movement. 🌊✨

❄️ Texture: Icee Slime
🫐 Scent: Blue Raspberry Slushie
🌊 Play Level: Intermediate
✨ Play: Soft snowy sizzles, gentle squishes, fluffy folds & slow stretchy waves
⛵ Add-ins: Sailboat, white seagull & tiny blue wave charm.

Squeeze it gently, stretch it slowly and fold it back into soft waves. Its slushy Icee texture gives it that snowy, almost foamy feel that makes it completely different from the other Chapter 2 slimes. 💙

Next, we meet Amergin, the poet and storyteller whose words carried power.

We wanted his slime to feel softer and calmer than the others, like a little cloud of storybook magic, with hints of blue sparkle running through it☁️💙

Next in Chapter 2, we meet Mac Cuill, Mac Cecht and Mac Gréine, the three kings whose names are tied to the hazel, the plough and the sun.

We wanted their slime to feel completely different from the three queens, so this one is bright, sparkling and full of crunch✨

💎 Texture: Clear Slime with Bingsu
🍬 Scent: Fruity Sweets with juicy apple & berry notes
🌟 Play Level: Intermediate
✨ Play: Crispy crackles, crunchy folds, popping bubbles & colourful stretches
👑 Add-ins: Mac Cuill’s hazelnut, Mac Cecht’s golden wheat & Mac Gréine’s smiling sun

Inside the clear slime are three colours of bingsu, purple, orange and iridescent, each adding its own little flash of colour. Stretch slowly to see the sparkle, then fold and squeeze for all those crunchy crackles and pops. 💜🧡
