Here at KMDS HQ we have had a great response to our Panto principal auditions, and as always the female applicants are out in force! 🥰

With that in mind and wanting to give everyone an opportunity at auditioning for appropriate parts, we have had a chat with our wonderful script writer and he has written an option for a female Panto baddie!

Applications are open for both male and female - but who will be our winning baddie?!! Time will tell 🤨

Anybody who has already registered for auditions and would now like to add our female baddie Horribella to your audition list, just send us a quick email or message us directly here and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to prep for your audition! 🔮

We are thrilled to announce our next Panto will be RAPUNZEL THE PANTO to kick off the Christmas season as we move our show dates to the beginning of December instead of our usual January!

With a script written by the wonderful Pat McElwain we are so excited to bring his hilarious script to life!

We are delighted to welcome CHARLENE MASTERSON into the directors seat and a huge welcome back to musical director CIARA WHITE & Choreographer FIONA SHIRRAN!

Committee are taking a well deserved few weeks off but don’t worry audition and junior registration information will be available soon so keep an eye on our socials for more details! 👀👀

Our 2025/2026 season came to an end last Thursday, concluding at our AGM.

Introducing our committee for the 2026/2027 season!

Huge thank you to our outgoing committee members Andrew Docherty, Anne Keogh & Mary Buckley. We appreciate all the work you did for the society in the last year.

A big welcome to Sinead Fowler who joins the ranks this year! 🙂

As a society, we couldn’t survive without the help of our incredible team who work tirelessly to make sets, stage crew, roll carpets, make props, collect chairs and basically do so much for us! We are delighted to have been able to award honorary life membership to our incredible team as a small token of our appreciation for everything they do for us!

And finally we were so, so proud to award the Philippa Alford Award for society person of the year to Paddy Barker who does so much for the society (and also so much that people do not see)! Paddy we would be lost without you!

We are proud to announce our production for 2027 is LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!

This cult classic will be sure to have you laughing in your seat and dancing in the aisles!

We are delighted to welcome back director Chris Corroon and choreographer Maria Fowler! A huge KMDS welcome to our musical director for 2027 Mr Greg Peters!

We won’t have any information for new members or on auditions for a few months so please keep an eye on our socials for information when it becomes available!

But for now PLEASE DON’T FEED THE PLANTS!! 🍃
